We've been involved in service planning activities all over the country.  Our involvement can begin at any level.  In Chattanooga, we were involved in the early concept stages for a downtown circulator, working with route design and operating alternatives, for both rail, and rubber tire before modal selection.  In Loraine County, OH, and Ithaca, NY, we came in to fine-tune the conceptual plan, translating the concepts into detailed operating plans, that would work on the street.

In Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Hammond, Indiana, we began from scratch, conducting a full Comprehensive Operational Analysis, on board user surveys, non-user surveys, and community meetings -- leading to development of a five-year Short Range Transit Plan.

In Racine, Wisconsin, we spent hours on the street -- observing, evaluating, adjusting, and testing running times in real-world conditions.  We evaluated alternatives by driving the area, looking for potential demand generators, and do a lot of "What if?",  followed by "Let's see how that would really work.

In Kankakee, Illinois, we spent a three-day weekend driving throughout the City, searching for route/schedule alternatives that would restore direct service to the City, from an area abandoned by the original system plan.

Perhaps that's one of the things that really differentiates us -- the time spent driving the area, observing, and testing alternatives -- first by car, then with a bus and driver provided by the system.  It's not a theory, or wishful thinking, or a mathematical model -- it has to really work.

In Las Cruces, New Mexico, we began from scratch, conducting a full Comprehensive Operational Analysis, On-Board User Survey, "Tell Us Where To Go" non-user survey (with 5% response rate!) - all leading to compilation of a five-year Short-Range Transit Plan.

In Racine, we spent hours on the street - observing, evaluating, adjusting, and testing running times in real-world conditions; designing and testing alternative route patterns; and driving throughout the area looking for potential demand generators which could be included in the new system.

The District of Columbia project included evaluation of all routes operated within the district; developing alternative networks based on similar characteristics for a privatization study.
